Cambridge Public Library

Colt supplied and installed a double facade to the Cambridge Public Library.

Double facade to increase comfort and reduce running costs Giant Venetian blind to regulate light and heat Extra wide slat design for added performance and aesthetics

Part of the extension of the main library included the installation of a double facade to increase comfort and reduce running costs.

This double facade incorporates a giant Venetian blind to regulate light and heat which Colt designed and supplied. This has a special extra wide slat design for added performance and aesthetics. A Lux sensor is connected to the BMS which moves the Venetian blinds thereby keeping the levels of light constant.
